First: Contact Shawano County Zoning-Planning and Development @ (715) 526-6766 for your Land Use Permit(s). Fee: will depend on the size of the structure. 

Next: Contact the Town of Wittenberg's Building Inspector, Mike Block @ (715) 490-4069 or Email: [email protected]  Fees: $200.00 flat fee + .30 per sq. ft. finished living space. Minimum $650.00

A Town of Wittenberg Administrative Building Permit Application must also be completed & the required fee paid. Once the Clerk receives the completed application & required fee, the Clerk can approve, then issue the "Administrative Building Permit."  Fee: $10.00

Please note: A 100 square feet structure (10' X 10') or smaller, does not require a Building Permit.
